Stevens Pass Powder December 20th 2010

This past Sunday Erik Svege and I got a chance to check out the slack county around Stevens Pass and we found high quality snow. The high country seems to be transforming from an early-season snowpack into a mid-season snowpack very quickly. The skiing is about as good as it gets with deep soft and easy skiing on all aspects. Temps are staying low so the skiing should remain high end for the foreseeable future. The forecast shows more light snows followed by more significant snowfall towards the end of the weekend. Here are a few images of Erik enjoying the day!

... but sometime...
Fantastic work as per usual Shane but sometime it we be fun to have you on the other end of the lens. You are not getting out there to get these photos without being able to ski a fine line yourself! Laurie and I always enjoy your work. Happy Holidays, Dave and Laurie S.

Clearly, Shane, you and Erik are both awesome skiers. Your mountains are a tad taller than ours in Vermont... love the photos!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to the back country duo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
