Icicle Creek Kayaking
Marco Colella from Crossfit Cashmere kindly invited us to follow him and some of his colleagues on a kayak trip down the boulder strewn Icicle Creek. I eagerly accepted his invitation and met them at their put in just past the Bridge Creek Campground. Russ Ricketts and I teamed up to take photos and video during the day. We chased this team of highly experienced kayakers down the canyon. Russ and I would drive a half mile down the Icicle Road to get in front of them and quickly set up for the next shot and then repeat the process down this raging creek. I was amazed how fast they moved down the river. I expected to be waiting and waiting for them but we could hardly get set up before they had floated on by. Thanks Thanks a bunch for coming out and shooting us running Icicle. real pleasure working with you guy's, we never have to wait on you guy's getting set up makes it easier to keep things moving. I thing that what you are doing is awesome. the Leavenworth area is just an amazing place where outdoor sport addicts can easily find balance between their favorite sports and real life.
